Who We Are

Veteran-owned W.F. Scarince, Inc. was founded in 1983 in Sauk Rapids, Minnesota as a general weld shop by degreed welding engineer William F. Scarince. In 1983, with more than 35 years of weld experience, Scarince quickly recognized a significant need for critical welding. Because of the complexity of the process, Scarince created even more value by adding a “Design & Build” Service in 1989. This allowed customers the opportunity to work hand-in-hand with company professionals to blend the best of both worlds. The customer experience—when combined with the critical welding experience brought to the table by the Scarince staff—provided a collaborative, cost-effective outcome that often exceeded expectations. Since then, and by developing a team of highly-qualified and degreed engineers, Certified Welders, and a Certified Welding Inspector, W.F. Scarince has become nationally recognized as a leader in the critical welding industry.
